A 2 Pager!

I haven't created a two page LO is soooooo long. Luckily my friend Andrea issued a challenge to a few of us using a 2 page sketch (forgive me I forget who it was by). I love the sketch she chose and I immediately knew which pictures I wanted to use for it. A total of 11 pictures in one LO!

I used BoBunny: Mango Luau Collection Papers

Butterfly

As soon as I took these photos of E I could not wait to develop and scrap them. We'd attended an event here in our town and they had games and face painting for the children. I'd thought she would get just a little flower or ladybug on her cheek but she saw the full face butterfly and said,"Mommy, I wan the big butterfly". It turned out really cute and she didn't want to wash it off it at the end of the day.
I used My Minds Eye papers on this LO.
Butterflies covered in Stickles
Had to get a close up of this face

Happy BELATED Birthday

to me! I finally scrapped a picture taken of me on my 31st birthday blowing out the candles on my cake. The best thing about it is my daughter took the picture and I think she did a great job capturing the moment

Introducing.....My youngest child Sampson!

I have never done a LO of Sampson, WHY? I don't know. He is my youngest child @ 4 years old. He is a Black Labrador Retreiver and while he is very loving and sweet, he can be super stubborn! This LO is of him enjoying a bone. The only way I can get him to sit still long enough for me to take his picture!
On this LO I used Crate Papers- Brook Collection, Glimmer Mist, Jillibean Soup Alpha Stickers, and my Creative Memories shape cutting system.

Thanks for looking! Don't forget to "click" FOLLOW!

Oh yeah here's the SKETCH!!

Here's the sketch I created for this LO.... as you can see I don't always follow my sketches to the T. My process is this: I take the pictures, develop thems, sketch a LO specifically for those picturers and then I get out the paper, scissors and glue. Most all of the time as I am creating I change things here and there.

Oooooo it's so CUTE!!!

Crate Paper's Paper Doll Collection that is. I just received the goodies in the mail yesterday and they are even better than what I expected! This line goes so well with pictures I've taken of my 5 year old. She's such a girly girl and I LOVE IT!!

For about a year now we've been asking her periodically if she'd like to get her ears pierced. Once she said yes so we beat it over to the mall and just as we walked up a baby got her ears done and SCREAMED!!! Erynn immediately said, "Uhmmm...No thanks!" So I just let go of trying to get her ear pierced until one Wednesday morning she woke up an during our morning get up and go routine she asked to have her ears pierced! I was super surprised and didn't believe she'd go threw with it. I told her we'd go on the weekend. Well wouldn't you know it come Saturday her first question was, "Are we going to get my ears pierced now?" So we went to Clair's and she surprised me and dad. She picked out cute little PINK flowers and even made sure I had the camera and was ready to take pictures. I'd been looking for the perfect papers to go with the pictures and well you just look and see:

See, see what I mean aren't these papers ADORABLE!

I love putting the curly paper on LOs now.
Several cute little chipper board accents, I had to stop myself from using them all on this one LO!

TGIF- and my latest Sketch!

This week in my area has been cold and wet! But today the sun shinning, there's a nice subtle breeze blowing, and best of all TGIF! Thank goodness it's FRIDAY! I've been sketching all week at work during quiet time, but haven't had time to do any LOs until last night. So here it is: Sketch 7

Here's my take on the sketch: A LO of my oldest daughter. For her 10th birthday she wanted a Nintendo DSI. They run $170. I thought in my infinite wisdom that if I gave her the actual cash she'd see how much it cost and realize she could do a lot more with the money instead of buying just one thing. Check out the LO to see if my diabolical plan worked:

Yup she rushed right out and to get the DSI! I was disappointed but she was extremely happy!
I used all My Little Shoebox papere products on this LO. I also used my other two favorite applications *STICKLES* and *GLOSSY ACCENTS* and Bling by Recollections.

Giggly Girls

My daughters almost constantly keep me laughing. THey are so very silly and I love that about them. This winter during our huge snow storm, they got to go out an dplay in th snow several times. I noticed how after they would come in their little cheeks would be bright pink! I had to take pictures of them. While I was trying to get the shots Ryene said something to Erynn that started the giggle fest! They could hardly stop laughing.
The papers used in this LO are Me & My BIG Ideas- Sassy Collection from Joanns. I liked it because the colors were so bright and fun and I'd always stayed away from these types of colors. But an artist I admire over on SB.com inspired me to go ahead and give it a go.

Question: Have you ever been working on a LO and started adding the embellishments and COULDN'T STOP? That's what happened to me on this one. LOL TFL!
Here is a close up of the pictures, so you can see those cheeks and butterflies. You can hardly tell from the picutres but the butterflies have Glossy Accents on them. ::I love the stuff::

On Scrapbook.com there is a challege to scrap an object. I debated for a couple of days and there were many objects I could have scrap..I mean my computer is practically my life line, I DONT leave the house without my coffee mug, absolutely can't do w/o my iPhone, any single scrapbook tool, LOVE LOVE LOVE my Honda and all her 120,000 sum miles. See, I work with children at a daycare and we cannot wear open toed shoe but I can't stand tennis shoes and socks! I suffered through it last spring/summer but not this year. After only a day of wear, I am in loooooove with my Crocs! Oh, and I fianlly got a to use the BoBunny Mamma-Razzi line.
The flower on the top and the brownish rose are both handmade.
There is a tutorial for the brownish rose in my archives.
I used All of the hearts are covered in glossy accents-GREAT STUFF
a must have in your scrapbook supplies alon with BLING and stickes!
Journaling Reads: Although I still think these are some of the ugliest shoes. They are so comfortable to work in. My feet are so gladI gave in!
