Its has been fun throwing myself back into day long scrapping...my girls and I were sick this week so I had all week to get the house in order and scrap between medications. I really miss being able to scrap during the day. Here is a picture I scrapped of my Steven and I when we were only two years in. Now that I think about the title I should have added a recent picture. Maybe I'll go back and add it later. Enjoy.
Fabulous 4th Grader
In this LO of Ryene's 1st day of fourth grade my focus was to make a unique title. I usually title with all of the same letters, colors etc. So I tried to switch it up and experiement. I will fill in the resto fo the journaling with her take on her first day. Pin It
BACK to School
Very excited about my first LO using thread. I hand stitched the threaded design. I was really excited for how it turned out. I will definately be doing more with sewing/stithces in the future. I will definately be looking for a sewing machine. We're a little past back to school season. Most schools have gotten their first report cards by now. This LO is of Erynn first days of Kindergarten. The 1st day only lasted 2 hours with the parents there to get an orientation. The second day she got on the bus and rode to schoool with the rest of the kids and stayed all day.
This LO was created using
Imaginisce Teacher's Pet Collection
Cricut Expression and Doodle Charms Cartridge
Stickles: waterfall, lime green, stardust
Green sewing thread for stitches.
IT'S BEEN TOO LONG
It has been months since I've done anything with this blog, since the move and all I've been kinda out of it. But I'm slowly making my way back into things and adjusting to this new lifestyle of a working mom with two kids in school. I have to get back to scrapbooking because it's what keeps me sane. I feel relaxed and light when I scrap. So I'm gonna make time for myself to do what pleasese me. I've managed to get a couple of projects done since May...check them out.
Move in Progress!
Just wanted to post a little note that due to our PCS (Army term for moving) I won't be very active on my blog:( . I estimate that I'll be unpacked and scrapping in about 2 weeks. I can't wait to get to the new location (Maryland) and start snapping away. I am mostly excited about this coming fall. Before we lived in El Paso, TX we lived in Alaska for 3.5 years so I haven't seen the beauty of a REAL fall season in almost 8 years, and fall is my favorite season! Well, I don't know how I am going to survive not having full internet access for who knows how long. Blog to yah soon!

Another School Year Ends!
As another school year ends so begins the my quest to find or create the perfect thank you/appreciation gift for my kids teachers. I feel as though they deserve an extra thank you and or a little something to show appreciation. So this year I am hand making cards and attaching a little satchel of Hershey's chocolate hugs & kisses.
This card design is inspired form a couple of different card ideas I found @ SB.com.

End of the school year!
Well tomorrow is the beginning of "end of the school year activities" for us. Field trips, award ceremonies, etc. I am so excited I always get some great pictures and I love thinking that the girls will see these years from now and have those memories. This whole year has been extra special for my youngest because it was her first year in PK. I havent scrapped a lot of it but believe u me it's well documented :). Her teacher sent home a note pinned to her shirt written in red ink with her phone number for me to be sure and attend the awards ceremony, because she will be receiving a "very special" award. Can't wait to see what it is. Camera is charged and ready to go with a brand new memory card! Then Wednesday is my 3rd graders turn she is super excited because she will be receiving several awards but her most coveted is the "Perfect Attendance" can't wait to capture those moments and you bet I'll scrap them soon to share with you all! Thanks for viewing.

WOW! This paged turned out really busy but I like it! All the different pp's and I really like scalloped pink paper. I have to start remembering to note the name of pp's so I can let you know what they are, if you know let me know! ;)
